5 common questions answered
NHTSA identifies three safety recalls for the 2020 Hyundai Elantra. A wheel issue may allow right-side rear wheel lug nuts to loosen, creating a risk that the wheel could detach. A suspension issue may allow a lower control arm ball joint to separate, potentially causing loss of vehicle control. On affected 2.0L Nu MPI engines, piston oil ring concerns may lead to engine damage, stalling, or oil leaking onto hot exhaust components and creating a fire risk. Waiting can leave these conditions unresolved. If you notice a recall notice or have questions about completed work, schedule service promptly for a free VIN check and manufacturer remedy.
