How Excited Are You For The 2018 Hyundai Kona

Not the southwesterly winter wind in Hawaii, that is often strong and brings rain, Kona. Not the popular tourist spot in Hawaii, Kona. But the 2018, all-new subcompact SUV, Hyundai Kona!

The Kona will feature a more intense grille design, with twin-element headlight details to enhance the visual look and lighting needed for night driving, consisting of LED lights for both the daytime and nighttime. This look will be interpreted through Hyundai's next-generation SUV lineup, which many auto fans are excited to see. A revamped Santa Fe possibly be next?

Sticking with the Kona, it measure 164.0in lengthwise and is based on an all-new platform. An overall width of 70.9in and a height of 61.0in will make this subcompact SUV comparable with other mini SUVs currently out on the market. Standard transmission, will be a 6-speed automatic, with buyers given the option of either front or all wheel drive. Eventually an electric powertrain option is expected to be declared as early as 2018, to potentially be released during the entire range of utility vehicles by 2020. Go, Hyundai!

Taking a look at the 2018 Hyundai Kona, the quirky-looking vehicle, is fit for the active and urban lifestyle consumer. Its design is displayed through chunky body surrounding the more petite sized wheel, which definitely directs attention to the separate parts and not as a whole. The more eye shocking colors will grab attention no matter what roads you tread. "Yes, deer! I am driving pass you in a pasty-green lime colored vehicle. Watch out!"

The interior gets just as funky as the exterior, with small, bright detailing that will keep you open-eyed and awake during any drive. The cabin is designed with the 7.0in dash and 8.0in tabletlike center touchscreen (with optional navigation setup.) Full-color graphics, digital speedometer, and active-safety information comes standard. Other tech features include:
  • Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility
  • Wireless charging pad for devices
  • 4G WiFi conncectivity
  • Forward-collision warning with automated emergency braking and more...
