2017 Hyundai Sonata won U.S. News & World Report accolade for “Best Midsize Car for the Money”

Congrats to the 2017 Hyundai Sonata for being awarded the U.S. News & World Report accolade for “Best Midsize Car for the Money,” making it the second time in three years a Hyundai vehicle won the award. Eighteen other domestic and foreign midsize sedan were also nominated for the award.


The Sonata was recognized for its magnificent quality and diversity, showcasing huge trunk, "low starting price," the spacious interior and commented that “usable technology litters the Sonata's lengthy list of standard and optional features."

U.S. News makes its rankings by merging quality and value figures into one score to provide an unbiased parallel of each vehicle to its competitors. Then the rankings are judged based on the opinions of hundreds of professional auto critics.
